Fall Baseball practices will continue on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5:30 - 7:00 PM moving forward for ALL PLAYERS. Tuesday's will be devoted to defensive work, with offensive work scheduled for Thursday's. Hope to see everyone tomorrow evening.
The school system and the baseball program have instituted the following standards to protect our student athletes and coaching staff while they enjoy the great game of baseball:
Athletes must submit the Health Questionnaire each day before conditioning by 2:00 PM. Athletes will be prohibited from practicing if the Health Questionnaire is not submitted for that practice day.
Coaches are required to follow the same protocol and will be required to fill out the Health Questionnaire each day.
Athletes must bring their own equipment. No sharing of equipment shall be permitted.
Athletes must bring their own water/hydration/sports drinks. No sharing of water shall be permitted. Water will not be provided by the baseball program.
Restrooms will be available for use by Athletes and the coaching staff. Everyone is required to wash their hands for at least 20 seconds after each use.
Sanitizing stations, with hand sanitizer and anti-bacteria wipes will be provided outside the restrooms by the concession stand, in the away dugout, and in the home dugout for use by athletes and the coaching staff.
All athletes are required to wear face coverings to and from conditioning. Face coverings can be removed once Athletes are on the field, but face coverings must be put back on at the end of practice each day.
Coaches are required to wear face coverings at all times.
Freshmen and Sophomores shall enter and exit the field from the 1st Base side and shall place their equipment along the right field fence, inside the field, outside of the dugout.
Juniors and Seniors shall enter and exit the field from the 3rd Base side and shall place their equipment along the left field fence, inside the field, outside of the dugout.
Each practice will start on-time. Athletes are asked to come prepared and ready to go. Each practice is limited to 1.5 hours. Adequate time will be provided to get arms loose, but we do not have time to go through our typical active warmup routine. Stretching must be done separately on the athlete’s time before conditioning.
Athletes shall bring Tennis Shoes/Turfs/Running Shoes and Baseball Cleats each day.
